The heat allows you to stretch deeply, lengthening every muscle and soothing the joints. These deep stretches will quickly result in an increased flexibility and physical well-being.
You will use muscles you didn’t know you had. All the main muscle groups are lengthened ànd strengthened with a special focus on the back strength.
Yoga is physical therapy. The postures help you heal old injuries and also prevent them in the future. We use infrared heating in the studio. This type of heating stimulates blood circulation, improves muscle recovery and decreases pain and inflammation.
The heat does not only help you to stretch deeper, it also makes you sweat and you do a lot of that in hot yoga. Your skin is your largest organ and sweating is its way of getting rid of a lot of toxins you build up in your body.

During a 90-minute hot yoga class you burn an average of +/- 750 to 1000 calories depending on your sex and body type. Not only that though; yoga brings your body into balance. The postures and the heat stimulate your metabolism and tone your muscles increasing blood circulation and fat burning.
