IS HOT YOGA SOMETHING FOR ME?

“I AM NOT FLEXIBLE AT ALL”

We hear that a lot!  We want to help you improve your flexibility, so we don’t expect you to be flexible in the beginning. All of the postures are suitable for beginners and you will find yogis of all ages, sizes and levels of practice in our classes.

“I HAVE HAD AN INJURY/OPERATION”

One of the most important benefits of Hot Yoga is that it supports and speeds up successful recovery from injuries. Of course we will not be able to turn back time if you have had a back operation in the past but we will help you to strengthen your back, protect it against deterioration and relieve you from back pain.

“I CAN’T STAND HEAT”

We won’t lie to you: the heat can be intense but after just a few classes it becomes a warm and welcoming sensation. Your body gets used to it. You will soon embrace the heat and accept it for what it is: a warm blanket that helps you improve your body and health.

PRACTICAL THINGS

DO I NEED TO MAKE A RESERVATION?

To begin with us it is necessary to make a reservation. If is your first time, just try to make it at least 20min before the class starts, so you have time to register and sign in.

EATING AND DRINKING

Make sure to drink plenty of water before class. It is best not to eat too much 2-3 hours before yoga.

If you have no other choice but to eat before class, try to keep it light.

WHAT TO BRING?

-  WATER! You will sweat a lot, so you need to drink a lot as well, especially after the class.

-  You can take a quick shower after class, so bring an extra towel.

The showers are of course cleaned every day.

But please help us to keep things hygienic by not shaving or using any type of hair removal    products, clays or       body-oils.

-  We provide mats and towels for beginners (starter's card). But just in case, bring an extra      towel.

You might sweat more than you expect.

-  There are lockers in the dressing rooms. You do not need to bring a padlock.

WHAT TO WEAR?

Light, comfortable, formfitting clothing is ideal. Avoid loose clothing or cotton as that will weigh you down

It's also best not to wear long-sleeved t-shirts or long trousers (you don't want to make it any hotter).
